THE MOOD BEHIND THE STONE — citrine
There’s something about citrine I keep coming back to. It’s not soft. Not quiet. It’s the kind of light that lands hard on your skin — heat on collarbones, salt in the air, that feeling you get when you’ve just said something honest and walked away without waiting to see how it landed.
That’s what citrine feels like to me. Not gentle. Alive.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about that mood — that moment when things stop being curated and just are. Sticky drinks in warm places. A face flushed from sun. A version of yourself that only shows up when no one’s asking for her. That’s where citrine lives. Somewhere between clarity and chaos. Between knowing and not caring.
I work with citrine because it has nerve. It doesn’t just sit pretty in a setting, it moves. It carries something electric. When I look at it, especially in our raw stones, it reminds me that beauty doesn’t need to be polished to feel powerful. It’s light that doesn’t ask for approval. It’s energy you tap into when you’re on the edge of change, or when you need to burn something down just to see what could grow back.
When I design the pieces that carry citrine, I kept imagining that kind of woman — the one who leaves and doesn’t explain. Who lights a candle in broad daylight. Who doesn’t wait for someone to tell her she’s allowed to want more.
So I made pieces that feel like her.

Take the Two Stone Choker. It’s delicate, but not shy. It wraps around the neck like a whisper but catches the light like it has something to say. Two citrines —one on each side— framing your collarbones like they’ve been waiting for that exact moment to glow. Whether it’s with a white T-shirt and your oldest jeans or a slip dress that makes you walk slower, it just works. Always. There’s something about the balance of it — round, organic, quiet at first glance, but so bold when it hits. It’s not trying too hard. It’s just exactly right.
And maybe I’m telling you all this because I’ve been needing a little of that brightness myself. Sometimes I forget. But citrine reminds me.
We’ve been working on something. Something citrine belongs to.
A new collection. Something a little warmer. A little bolder.
It’s arriving May 27 — Resort 2025.
If you’ve been craving sunlight, in any form, this might be for you.
With love,
